Welcome to campsite de peel

Our small , child-friendly campsite, which will also make the rest-seeking 50+er feel at home in the pre and after-season, is situated in southeast Brabant in the vicinity of the national park "De Groote Peel" and the Strabrechtse Heide. Besides the “Brabantse” cosiness and kind-heartedness, we offer you excellent toilet facilities and nice sheltered places. For guests who do not have any camping gear we rent out several mobile homes, a chalet and a log cabbin.
Pets, if they do not cause any inconvenience and are leashed are more than welcome at our campsite. In our rental accommodation however pets are not allowed.
for children we have a nice playground with a sand box, swings , a slide, a merry-go-round and a trampoline there are also a number of pedal go karts which can be used by the children for free. In the months of June, July and August our outdoor swimming pool is open

For various games we have a sports field with a volleyball net and goals, a boule field and a bad weather accommodation with various indoor games.
do you want to explore the surroundings? there are several bicycles for rent and we also have free bicycle routes available. for groups we also have several Peeltrappers, multiple people bicycles to do a nice orientation route . for people who want a more relaxed program we have the PeelExpress, our train which can transport you through the peel at set times, including an explanation of the landscape, costums of the people and other sights. special programs with the train are also possible, to check these please consult www.peelexpress.nl

For those that chose to really like to experience nature national park “De Groote peel is a must. ca. 1300 hectares of scenic beauty to enjoy some silence of a quite walk. A little further away, at cycling distance the scenic areas of the Deurnese heath, Straberechtse heath , Mariapeel and the stippelenberg. In short, the joy of every nature lover.

In the near vicinity there is a fishing pond of 15 ha. This pond is surrounded by woods with several footpaths. for the children we have a nice playground with a sandbox, slide, merry-go-round and a trampoline. we also have free pedal go-karts. In the months of June, July, August our pool is opened. in the summer holiday we have a lot of activities on our campsite. And if the kids come home really dirty, no problem, a washer and dryer are available.
besides that we have a petting zoo called “de keutelhof” with chickens , goats, and cuddly rabbits. furthermore we also have well behaved ponies which can be ridden at set times under expert supervision

At the campsite, besides all the regular facilities like toilets, showers, electricity etc, we also have a playground, swimming pool, pedal go-karts, petting zoo “keutelhof” , bad weather indoor recreational facilities and a trampoline for the children.
